18 Weeks

Ok this might be a little late, as I am 20 weeks now but there were quite a few firsts during the 18th week that I wanted to get down and not forget.
We were on the Cruise ship and I believe it was after our day in Jamaica and I had my first scare. I know lots of pregnant women have a time when they bleed or have issues but I was almost half way through my pregnancy and to be honest it has been a pretty text book, no horrible morning sickness, no pain, no bleeding.. nothing. It took me a while to even truly believe there was even anything going on inside me! Anyway I don't want to get too graphic but After dinner Wednesday we went back to our room and after a bathroom break I noticed some redness... I laid down and quietly told Jeff what I saw and talked about it for a min then watched some TV. The next trip to the bathroom revealed more and then panic set in. I sat there (in the bathroom) trying to calm myself before I went out to tell Jeff. I finally gave up and just went out and he knew as soon as he saw me that there was more. At first he wanted to call the Midwife but I told him there was nothing they could do, we were thousands of miles away. So in between my sobbing I told him I thought I needed a blessing to get through the rest of the trip. Everyone was at a show so I calmed myself down enough and went with him to find them after the show got out. Everyone (my parents and Brother and sister-in-law) came back to our room and Jeff and my Brother gave me a blessing. It was one of the best experiences on the trip I think, being that it calmed me and got me though the rest of it without too much worry and that it was the first blessing Jordan got to do and he did awesome!
In the midst of all of that and before the blessing I laid as still as I could and felt what I thought were real VERY real movements. Later as we laid there watching a movie I felt them again and I couldn't help but feel comfort. All I could say was that I knew he was still alive and was confirmed with our ultrasound a few days after we returned home.
Jeff felt him for the first time last Friday or Saturday (see this is why i need to keep up with events). From what I heard it was pretty early but the baby is really low and I'm not that big so I think that is why we can feel him already. Jeff's face was the best when he felt him but he thought it was pretty weird and doesn't try to feel him much (I am taking volunteers to be there when he passes out while I'm in Labor now..) Just kidding!

Anyway here are a couple belly shots from the last couple weeks:
17 weeks

You better believe I still wore a 2 piece! I'm still in the is she pregnant or fat stage so whatev!
