Today is my sister-in-laws birthday. She is always so good about getting a post for everyone I thought I would do one for her! She is awesome to have in the family, she is thoughtful about everyone and tries to make things personal for us all. She was so helpful when Jeff and I were planning the wedding, I don't know what I would have done without her during some of the crazy times. She is a fabulous mom to the two beautiful kids and now an amazing aunt! Thanks Holly for everything you have done we love you! Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Jeff!!!
I have missed a couple Birthdays lattely but things have been way busy. Jeff turned 28 on Sunday and I made sure the primary kids sang to him on our first Sunday in there... It was perfect for him! I has been so much fun being married to him. I just want to share some things I love about this man.
1. I love how hard of a worker he is
2. I love how patient he is with me! :)
3. I love how cute he is with kids
4. I love that whenever I ask for something he says ok. Sometimes I test him and he really does say yes to almost everything, so cute!
5. I love to watch him with our incredibly high maintenance dog... He will never give up on him!
6. I love how much he loves his sweets and still looks amazing!
7. I love his constant motivation he has to go to the gym 5 days a week, it helps me stay motivated!
8. He is such a caring loving person and doesn't like to leave anyone out. No matter how tired he gets he tries to make it to everything!
9. No matter how dinner turns out he always says it was good... I mean I even burnt rice once and he still told me it was a good meal! (We didn't eat the rice I burnt)
10. And most important I love who much he loves me!

More Traditions
This being our first Christmas together I decided to ask Jeff about his family traditions growing up and then asked him what he would like to start as one of our very own traditions. Last year during Christmas we went down to St George to see the lights at the Temple (yes I know they are not anything like the real Temple square, but still beautiful and the spirit is undeniable) so this year we made it a point to go and walk around the Temple again in St George. I am happy to note that that is now our FIRST holiday tradition togehter! Yay Christmas! And Yay for such a wonderful husband that is so good at putting me first even though he is working his butt off right now!
This is actually a couple of homes by the Temple. They were all decked out we decided to take a walk to look at their lights as well.
Jeff's cute little face and the path of lights circling the Temple.
I thought this was a cool picture of the Temple so another shot of us!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Christmas Traditions
So every year my mom makes a bunch of goodies for the holidays. This year she decided to come up to Cedar and bake all day with me! We had a bnch of fun, some not so good fudge, bad vanilla, and we won't mention Jeff's cinnamon rolls! Thanks mom for bringing the Holiday tradition to me, I am so greatful to have the family I have and not being left out of everything, being the only one who lives out of town!
This would be my mom over a pan of carmel and peanutbutter balls
The finished peanutbutter balls
All the carmels wrapped and ready (I believe there were over 100)
The end of the day when all was done... that would be Bauer, I should have known then that none of my baked goods were safe. He at half that pan of peanutbutter balls, the other half was safe becuase my mom took them home!
This is Mike as many of you know. He travels with my mom. It's one of the ways she gets the grand kids excited about her trips. Rylan like is see where Mike goes so she makes sure to snap a picture of him everywhere. He went to Hawaii with us in April and going to Australia next month!
The cinnamon rolls we weren't mentioning! It was jeff's first time working with yeast, we think he over mixed of fried it! Cute kid!
We did have a great day. Thanks again Mom for coming up and braving the snow! I think she was in shock from the cold, at one point when she got in her car it was -6 out! haha! Desert people!

Christmas Tree
Jeff and I have been looking for a 9 foot tree for a while. We don't have all the space in the world so it had to be a little skinny but we didn't want it too small... so as we were looking through the black friday ads we saw the one we thought would be it. As you know it it was! and we only spent just over 70 bucks on it! woo hoo for Black friday (and gift cards)! So here it is decorated, a much better improvemtnt from my tree last year! Oh and some have been asking for pictures of our dog... that is Bauer in the next picture, glowing eyes and all! Merry Christmas!!
